Children/young people attending the holiday club over the lunch period will need to take a food safe packed lunch with necessary cutlery and drink, in a named container, preferably with a cool pack inside. Otherwise please name individual items that need storing in the fridge and hand to a staff member on arrival at club.

What else is on offer at the Clubs?

At after school club there is a homework area with adult support if required for children/young people who need this facility and wish to participate. Homework club is open from 4pm-4.45pm.

You will be given a monthly informative newsletter that will inform you of any other information and activities going on in the coming month.

At the club we create a space exclusively to provide the younger children in their first term of school, a smaller environment where they can access resources specifically catered at meeting their individual interests and needs that are age and stage appropriate. We complete individual transition sheets to support them whilst settling in.

Children who attend after school club in the 3 – 4 years age range are allocated a key person who takes lead responsibility in organising their key child’s profile which is comprised and based around the children’s individual play interests, learning, development and achievements.

A termly review is completed to share with parents and other settings the child may attend for example; school or child-minders.

During school holidays along with a weekly timetable of activities planned by the children/young people will be an itinerary of outings for a maximum of 10 children and two team members. The outings will sometimes incur an extra charge and this will be outlined on the trip itinerary. Bookings are taken on a first come first served basis, allowing all children/young people an equal chance to be included.

At Planet Vibe we plan opportunities for age appropriate workshops that have been developed using the children/young people’s ideas.

Planet Vibe aims to provide a chill out space where our children/young people can relax and chat with friends, opportunities to use an activity space where they can access sports, arts and events.

The children/young people have the option of walking on a daily basis to the local precinct to purchase their own lunch under the supervision of the staff.
